Along with searching the World Tourism Organisation website for what holiday destinations are the most popular, take a look at other websites such as the Independent Tour Operators. They offer a list of the top ten destinations for 2008 and their list seems to be dominated by Western European countries currently. So what are proving to the most popular ten holiday destinations in 2008 according to Independent Tour Operators?

Tresco in the Isles of Scilly has started to see a growth in visitors due to their new builds in holiday homes.

Cook Islands, South Pacific ” This is the perfect location if you are looking for some winter sun. Currently this place seems to be proving popular with holiday makers from the UK as the pound is very strong against the New Zealand dollar.

Monte Carlo ” For many English people renewed there has been renewed interest in this city because of Lewis Hamilton winning the Formula 1 Grand Prix. However, the price of staying here is certainly not cheap and costs can rise considerably during the week of the Grand Prix.

Zambia Family Safaris ” The reason that Zambia is gaining in popularity even though many people still travel to Kenya, Tanzania and Botswana for safaris is the cost. Not only is Zambia less expensive than the other destinations we have mentioned but the accommodation is suitable for families being large tribe sized homes. Plus the variety of wildlife to be seen is just as wide as in the other countries where safaris are popular.

Togo and Benin, West Africa ” If you are looking for somewhere which offers a completely different kind of view of Africa then these are two destinations worth considering. Plus currently the number of visitors making this one of the top ten holiday destinations is currently not that many so it still remains pretty much like it has for many centuries before.

Just a few years ago, I was 26 years old. I had been with my boyfriend for over two years and all of my friends were either engaged or married. It seemed like it was my turn next, but it also seemed like that might never happen. He never seemed ready to propose to me.

I was in a rush to move on with my life and start a family. I really wanted kids and I wanted him to be the father of my kids.

It had been two years and he still hadn’t proposed. It seemed like this was the time where it was supposed to happen, and I really had no idea when it would be. I didn’t want to waste my time.

I began to nag him about it (which I’ve learned you shouldn’t do), but it turns out that he had been planning on proposing within a matter of weeks anyway.

It was just several weeks later when it asked me to marry him. It was a warm Saturday afternoon and I can honestly say that I was totally shocked. I didn’t see it coming whatsoever.

So you might be wondering when a man should propose to his girlfriend. In my case, it was just over two years but I have many friends who have gotten engaged after just a year. Some after even less time. What’s the appropriate amount of time though?

There’s no real answer to this question, as much as I’d like to say that there is one. It really varies by couple and you’ll have to take a good hard look at your relationship to determine the answer to that.

Still, you definitely have a right to ask. You’re not involved with him just for the sake of wasting your time, and you want to make sure that you’re both of the same mindset when it comes to these things.

Fast forward three years later now. I’m now happily married with a child, and write about the Little Tikes kitchens and the little tikes cookin fun interactive kitchen.

If you’ve been wondering how to save a relationship, below are 7 simple steps you can take to accomplish this, but first a little story. Sean and Lizzy both work hard. Sean works long hours at the office, and Lizzy spends her time tending to the children. Sean doesn’t feel she has time for him, and Lizzy thinks Sean doesn’t have time for her. Can their relationship be saved? Should it be saved?

First off you have to decide if the relationship is worth saving. Most relationships can be saved with hard work, but both people have to decide to be committed to saving it. If one of the parties involved isn’t willing, then not much can be done to save the relationship.

One of the biggest challenges with how to save a relationship is that both parties involved have to decide that it’s worth saving. Too many people you see every day stay in relationships because of convenience or stick with a marriage because of the kids. This just isn’t enough. You both have to agree that it should be saved.

The next thing to do is zone in on the problem or problems in the relationships. One of the biggest issues faced with how to save a relationship is that people come to the conclusion that symptoms are actually problems. This is a common mistake, don’t make it. Focus on the actual problems.

One example is an affair. Many people think this is a problem that causes break ups, but in truth, an affair is actually a symptom of a larger problem. A lack of real intimacy can lead to an extramarital affair. Most people would look at the situation and think the affair was the problem that caused the break up, but in reality, it was the lack of true intimacy that was the real cause, the affair was the symptom. If you don’t address the lack of intimacy, you might be able to use guilt to stop another affair, but most likely another problem (like pornography addiction) may arise because you have dealt with the core of the real problem.

Your relationship can only be saved when you strip down the symptoms and start to deal with the core issues.

After you have identified the true problems, you are able to verbalize your feelings and share your thoughts while allowing your partner to do the same. Listen to their concerns, and hold your partner’s hand while listening to them. This will show them that you want to reconnect even when you are emotionally swirling. When your partner mentions something that hurts you, remember that they aren’t usually doing it out of spite, but because they want to save the relationship.

If one of your problems is not spending enough time together, plan a weekend get away or even a date night. You and your partner can take turns coming up with different fun ways to spend the evening together, even if it’s a Wednesday.

If the problem facing your relationship is that you don’t communicate with each other enough, plan out 20 minutes before bed where it is just the two of you. Turn off the TV, computer, and silence your phone. Just take some time and talk, just the two of you. Don’t just schedule it, do it.

And Finally, you must realize that saving a relationship is a process. Often you will go two steps ahead and take one step back. There will be pain and joy as you move along. Just remember to be quick to apologize and slow to place blame.

Have you decided that your relationship is worth saving? If it is, the advice in this article will give you a very good start.

Online dating can be fun, but do not neglect safety and common sense when you try to hook up with a mate. At minimum, take caution in the following areas.

Computer Security

Make sure you have some kind of computer security before hitting the dating sites. You should have both a firewall and an anti-virus program for your email and when you browse the dating sites. A free firewall is made by Zone Alarm and a free anti-virus program is AVG.

Protect Yourself

Make sure you start out using only the big and popular dating sites. If you see them advertising on TV then they are probably safe. After all, if they can afford to spend tens of thousands of dollars advertising, they must be do something right by their members. I also suggest that you ask family and friends about what dating site they used. You can always move on to more niche dating sites once you get some experience.

Remember, safety first. Protect your computer and yourself with the right tools and knowledge and you will have a fun experience.

With safety covered, I will now talk about how to build an online relationship. Online relationships need tending to if you want them to grow just like relationships offline.

1. Take time and make time. Does your online date get in touch with you regularly? Do you do the same? Neglecting virtual meetings can be considered abuse or neglect, so treat each others time with respect. If it is lacking, it might mean time to move on.

2. Communication needs to “feel” right for both of you. If one of you is too pushy about meeting, for instance, that can give off bad vibes. So do not rush. Take time to learn more about each other and develop trust.

3. Respect each others right to privacy. Do not share photos or emails with your other friends, especially if it was sent to you in confidence.

4. Share both online and offline experiences. Online - send digital cards, website links, your favorite music and videos, pics of your pet, etc. Offline - send cards, postcards, and pics from your local area like a pic of your house, your car, the beautiful park across the street, etc.

Tend your online relationship. Water it with care and over time it can sprout and grow.

I hope you enjoy this article on how to safely get started with online dating and building an online relationship. Are you sad because someone broke your heart?? Do you hope there is still a small chance it can work out? Visit I want my ex back
